Surge Diverter for cathodic protection
Surge Diverter for Cathodic Protection
Our Surge Diverters are specially designed to protect cathodic protection (CP) systems such as pipelines, storage tanks, and rectifiers against lightning surges, AC faults, and switching disturbances.
Installed between the protected structure and the earthing system, the surge diverter provides a safe discharge path for high voltages, without interfering with the normal CP operation.
🔹 Key Features
-
Provides reliable protection from lightning and AC faults.
-
Fast response time (<25 ns) ensures immediate surge diversion.
-
Does not affect normal cathodic protection current flow.
-
Heavy-duty MOV/GDT technology for long life.
-
Weatherproof & maintenance-free design.
